This seems like a dumb design for a blower fan. The "6 position design" is actually more limiting than their tried-and-true blower fan that can pivot - it's the same price right now, and it also doesn't have a crappy membrane switch that's more likely to fail prematurely: https://www.amazon.com/Lasko-U121...B07YKXF9VC

Also - I've had the Stanley branded version of what I just linked for 5+ years... TIL it can rotate 270 degrees so that the exhaust port is right at ground level

CFM on a directional blower fan probably isn't going to matter much for most people - that's assuming the ratings are 'fair' and even consistent/accurate between different models.

I often use mine just on the lowest speed pointed up and out an upstairs window on cool summer nights with a window open downstairs to help cool it down the whole house some evenings... and it does a great job without using a window fan (which my sliding windows aren't ideal for). Keeping it a decent distance from a window gives a good 'multiplier' effect so that it's basically saturating the window up and out.

What I'd like to see is a new gen one with a similar design and a DC motor for a quiet & efficient running (metal) squirrel cage blower fan.

Same price at Walmart. I bought 2 of the red version last year on clearance for $20 each. I use them in the garage when I workout. Nice they have plugs so you can connect them. USB also. For $20, they have been worth it. May be better choices for $50 out there.
