I can't speak for the Softfli and Straightfli prices, but the Tours are "on sale" for this price all the time in my experience. That isn't to say it's not a good deal - but just that this isn't a special discount from what I've seen.

I've been able to use the $20 off $100 coupon on the Tours in the past but only in store.

Got the straightflis a few weeks ago as I had rewards that were expiring (typically play srixon z and q-star tours) and didn't really need anything. Thought these would be good to practice around with. Wasn't expecting anything great, but the ball is very dull at strike with no feedback. My club has front roll off greens where every approach needs to be lofted so I can't really comment on how well they stick, but I haven't noticed anything too unusual there. Distance lost is maybe 5 -10 yards off drives. Fine for a practice round, but at this price, might as well get K-sigs if you have a costco membership.

$15/dozen for Maxfli Softfli isn't a deal.

These are for people who want less spin and generally have issues keeping the ball in play. Not intended to spin and check like a urethane cover ball.

Decent deal for those with no balls. If you've got balls, you can probably skip this.

Anecdotal but I literally played 18 with the Straightflis yesterday for first time.

I saw a noticeable improvment off the tee.

I have a high launch angle and sometimes have really severe side spin that causes my drives to end up in poor spots and short.

I was finding myself hitting these much straighter. The trade off was probably a 20 yard loss from what I'd hit a 3 piece ball with when struck well. But I'll take being in the fairway more consistently than an extra 20 yards.

But still no better than what you'd find with the newest k-sig v3, which cost significantly less.

The straightfli's definitely fly straighter. thought it was a gimmick. Its not. Yes, doesn't feel as "soft" or doesn't "bite" as much as a Pro V1, but if you're a weekend golfer, this ball is the difference between OB vs in-play. If your iron strike ball flight is high enough, it will stop just like others on the green.
