Alternatively, it's almost labor day and most ebike places will offer something. If you're looking for cheap ebikes, go with Lectric, REI, Ride1Up, Aventon, HeyBike.

Swell 4-U and Swell 2 are the step-through variations of a standard bike.
Big Swell 2 has the largest motor and battery. Swell 4-U has the smallest motor and battery.

Unsure which ones you are comparing, but note that the Swell 2 is a mid-drive motor and all the others are hub motors. A mid-drive motor watt for watt usually has more torque than hub motors.
These compare to Trek's Electra GO series if you want a bigger bike brand, especially if there is a Trek shop in your area. Just don't expect a 60% discount.
These bikes are decent. Not bad, not awesome. These are of a general class of commodity ebikes with Shimano Tourney shifters (reliable but not at all fancy or rapid response). They do have a throttle which means you can get asist from a dead stop. Replacement electronics and batteries are non existent on most ebikes, though most of these use standard cells that can be swapped out by someone who isn't afraid of a soldering iron. At least it doesnt have a weird phone app that can become abandonware.
Cadence sensors, which most of these have, are adequate but a torque sensor is better if you want real exercise. I leave my cadence on assist=0 and only use throttle when on hills. If you are on 7th gear and assist=1 you will do some work to maintain 10+mph. At Assist 3 and less than 20mph on flattish ground you are just pretending to pedal.
On flat land, 300w motor will get a 250lb guy up to 18-19mph and will help with hills. Help is the keyword, it's not a motorcycle. Push into 750-1000w for that.
Absolutely get the shipping insurance when getting a bike online. UPS/FedEx is horrible about flipping the boxes around. Take unboxing pics. And if there is box damage or the box is upside down, take pics before you cut the yellow straps as that helps prove it was the shipper.
