The 3 ton is more expensive at 150 but weighs 78 lbs. This one weighs 105. Big difference and you will feel it as well 😀

If you're only looking to do light work like oil changes, I would recommend race ramps for $300. Race ramps takes up a little more space but are safer, more durable, and convenient. The ramps don't cost too much more if you need to buy both the jack and stands.
Agreed that for oil changes, a pair of ramps does the job just as well and is much simpler and faster to setup. I use a $55 Harbor Freight set and have zero complaints.

Something I can't seem to find an answer anywhere online:

Can typical jacks be used in a 1-car garage? I mean from the side, not from the front/rear. I see various opinions of people placing jacks at angles to the car, and realistically in a 1-car garage you would be nearly parallel to the car. I can't seem to find a video of anything like this on Youtube, so I presume it's not possible?

I have small cars and bought the arcan 2 tons for $100. It's well made and I am happy with it.

I do agree that they are much safer, but its not a good replacement if ur changing break pads or rotors. Not exactly super light but have to be done pretty common too! If you have the space and funds you should have the ramps for sure

Why do they cost $300 when the Husky ones are $50? Confused

Yeah right. You'd kill your back lugging this thing around. LMAO
What you want is aluminum, makes it small and lightweight, fast jacking.
Fast jacking, huh?

I'd love to find a long base jack so I can reach the front center jack point on my car without putting it on ramps.

this or Arcan from Costco or Daytona?
If you buy the Arcan from Costco you can return it later when it needs maintenance.

Nope. Not if you use it. It's a heavy item so you can get away with using a lighter jack if you want.
