The 3 ton is more expensive at 150 but weighs 78 lbs. This one weighs 105. Big difference and you will feel it as well 😀

Nope. Not if you use it. It's a heavy item so you can get away with using a lighter jack if you want.
Thanks - I see some well reviewed and lighter jacks that also get around $100
106 lbs is up there if you're also moving around in awkward positions and the sedans that are very low are bendy/reachy to work on. For an SUV or truck a heavy jack is probably OK.

If you're only looking to do light work like oil changes, I would recommend race ramps for $300. Race ramps takes up a little more space but are safer, more durable, and convenient. The ramps don't cost too much more if you need to buy both the jack and stands.
Unfortunately the front of one of my cars sits too low to allow me to drive up ramps.

I bought two. I'm going to start doing my own oil. Getting it done at Walmart it become too much of a pain in the ass. My plan for these two Jacks is to jack up both front wheels after putting the emergency brake on and some blocks behind the rear wheel. Then I can get under there and do everything real quick and let the jacks down to make it flat and get the oil out. Then jack back up and get under there again and finish. Pros tell me if there's a flaw in my plan.

I need to figure out what oil pan is best asap.

If you're going to be under the car while it is on a jack, you should really have some jack stands there as backups. It takes a few seconds to set a jack stand, and another few to drop it and move it out of the way. Well worth the negligible amount of time.

If it's built well that's a very good price.
Same, this is a great deal if you are looking for a quality jack!

First what do you mean you need to figure out what oil pan is best? Did you mean to say oil?

Second you don't need two Jacks to do an oil change.

Third you don't need to lay the car flat on the ground to get the oil out to drain fully.

Please research more before deciding to want to do this on your own.

Something I can't seem to find an answer anywhere online:

Can typical jacks be used in a 1-car garage? I mean from the side, not from the front/rear. I see various opinions of people placing jacks at angles to the car, and realistically in a 1-car garage you would be nearly parallel to the car. I can't seem to find a video of anything like this on Youtube, so I presume it's not possible?
I've heard the same concerns and it sounds like any angle that is not perpendicular can lead to instability the higher up you jack the car. I think it has to do with the jack moving in an arc as it goes up and either the jack has to slightly roll or the car does. I've personally lifed at angles that were almost parallel but I only was doing one side at a time and was on a flat/level surface. I'd probably be a bit nervous trying to do both sides at the same time this way.

I personally don't think you need to lower the car to get all the oil out but if you do you'll want a low-profile oil pan otherwise your car might crush it. I use Rhino ramps for oil changes and although it is a pain to line them up, get back in the car, drive on the ramp to the sweet spot, etc. it makes the job pretty simple. One other tip is that I've outfitted all my cars with Fumoto valves that you can get from Amazon or other sources. All you have to do is remove the oil plug once and put the valve in place and you can just flip the lever to release the oil on future oil changes. Just make sure you get a version that doesn't hang below the profile of the oil pan otherwise you could hit something on the road and rip off the valve which would probably cause engine failure once the oil is drained.

I'm flashing back to July 2020 when my neighbor decided to do his own oil change during lockdowns. He put ramps on his smooth garage floor, started to drive his jeep up them, and ended up driving the ramps into his wall LMAO
