This is a nice set. FYI the case is Tough System 1.0 but it is compatible with the 2.0 system. iirc this is not compatible with Tstack system so please beware.

I picked this up a couple seasons ago for $89-99 I can't recall but you know lack of time machines and all. So it's probably a good deal at this price.

The tools are nice I have used them a bunch of times for auto repair and occasionally around the house, nothing bad to say.

This set is great. As with all Dewalt Toughsystem boxes ordered through the mail, order 3 and keep the 1 that doesn't arrive broken.

Don't they sell a TSTAK adapter for ToughSystem? Is it for ToughSystem 2.0 only?

I got this a few years ago for $130 and I love this set, I completely recommend it. One thing though - the set I have has the socket sizes stamped into the plastic trays. It's a huge time saver. I can't tell if they deleted that feature, it looks like it's not present in the photos, but it could just be a lack of detail. If the set doesn't have these labels stamped, it'd be a dealbreaker for me. Here's a pic of the labels I'm talking about: https://imgur.com/a/lVwcZQJ

Edit: someone later on in this thread bought the set and confirmed the markings are still on the trays

I bought this last time it came across slick deals and mine has the labels stamped on the trays.

Also, love this set as well!

I'd definitely buy if it didn't include those 3/8th stuff, just dead weight / space to store them
I took those out and added another tray for various other mechanics tools.

I bought this a few years ago for around the same price. You may not realize just how big and heavy this box is. It's a beast, I wouldn't want to walk up and down any stairs with it. With that said, the tools are so solid, I think they will last forever. I keep it in my garage and mainly use it on my ride-on mower to swap in/out the mower and snow blade. It's worth every penny - just be aware the set is enormous so you need a good space to store it and it's a really heavy box to move.

"Hard stamped markings on sockets and wrenches for clear identification"

Looks like they do!

That's the sockets and wrenches themselves, but it doesn't mention the trays. But maybe I'm just interpreting that wrong.

I already planned to pickup one of the small wood dollys at Harbor Freight next week to put this on.

LOL. Just messing w/ya. Thanks so much for defending a country that has, sadly, stopped fully defending/supporting its own citizens/military veterans.

How are these sockets compared to tekton sockets? Looking to replace my husky sockets as they don't fit snugly most of the time. My dad's old made in the USA craftsman sockets fit great though! I've read good stuff on tekton so was going to go that route, but if these are just as good then these will do.
