I was responding to someone else that was wishing OP's deal were separate items so the deal could be "hacked". My post was not meant to be a better replacement of OP's deal...in fact, I stated that OP's deal is better. The link I posted was an option to get the light a bit cheaper without having to deal with the batteries.
I guess that is what I get for trying to be helpful on the internet....?

The light with batteries and charger is definitely a better deal. Even if you don't need the batteries and charger, you could surely sell them for more than $20.

--Good--
The light on the packet is BRIGHT. Has seals for both compartments (storage and battery) which should provide good water resistance.
--Whatever--
It's a SMALL packout. HAS to be at the TOP of your load (cannot put anything on TOP of this. The light only swivels 270 degrees (in 1 direction).
--Bad--
The storage is nearly useless. You can hold a ton of bits in there... There are 2 removable trays (with 4 slots to put the 2 trays). You CANNOT put a 2.0 battery (for storage) in here. It's a SMALL packout. HAS to be at the TOP of your load.
--UGLY--
The trays are UNDER the light. Kind of a deal breaker (for some) since the 2 USB ports for charging your cell are located here. There is NO passthru for a cable.
So, if you're using your packet light and want to charge your phone... You have to CLOSE the cover (the light) with your phone charging INSIDE the compartment.
Am I going to keep it? Yeah, for $140 (including the charger and 2 batts)... not bad.
