I would definitely go with the ASUS. The ASUS is surely better made, its also 13th gen intel vs. 12 and its cheaper...
Look into the mobile 4070 series. Saw a video about how they limit the total watts used and it tops out when compared to the 4080/4090.

Look it is a 3080ti laptop- that is equivalent raw power of a desktop RTX 4060. That is some serious graphic card in a laptop. It is a desktop replacement, most would use it with a monitor

I purchased a mid level laptop from them and the build quality was subpar. A Walmart Gateway is better built.
I see a lot of people saying 4070. I'd personally go with this based on VRAM. 16GB on this vs 8gb on the 4070. The way games are chewing up VRAM lately this is a great deal for a 3080TI machine esp if you're going to keep the next 3-4 years.
They wasted all that space too. Don't let the interns mess with the CAD 😂
