It's called a 'camera system', so does it include the needed synch module? The Amazon page makes no mention of it.

My original Blink XT cameras (lifetime free subscription) ask you to tap as well. This is so you realize you are chewing through the batteries on the camera and don't just leave it on to burn through them. Mine last about a year and 8 months or so on a set of lithium AA's, but I only arm them when I am not home and at night.

I purchased 12 Blink cameras and the doorbell and love the cameras but the Blink doorbell is terrible when compared to the Ring doorbell. The Ring doorbell is so much faster to get the notification to your phone and allow you to interact with the person at the door. The other flaw with the Blink doorbell is there is not a constant light on around the button like the Ring and not only makes it hard to see in the dark but you loose the appearance of there is a camera present and you are being watched. And lastly, with the Blink doorbell when wired to your homes powered doorbell wires the Blink doorbell doesn't charge the batteries or run without the batteries so you still have to replace batteries every couple of years where my ring Ring doorbell has been up for five or more years and the battery is still at 100%.

I got one bundled with the solar charger.

It doesn't detect much on the default settings, even cars parking in our driveway, so I jacked up the motion sensitivity. Now it's complaining that its batteries will die much sooner.

It's an ok product, but it's not a full substitute for a wired camera.

The latency to live view with these battery Blink cameras are terrible. Only the indoor blink cameras are tolerable (2-5 seconds to live). Forget about the Blink doorbell...smh.. it doesnt even use the power from the transformer, and still relies on the batteries!
