Is there any suggestions in the pot boss lorredo 1000 and the Cuisinart Twin Oaks. They seem to hit the same clearance price point so wondering which is better

one of those typical "designed by latte sipping team in california, built in China for $55 and marketed in US for $500" milk jobs.

I grabbed one last year when they went on clearance and I don't really have much to complain about other than how big it is. The display has gone out in some segments which is likely due to AZ sun beating on it. Overall cooks just fine.

I had this Austin XL and loved it. Upgraded to a Laredo 1000 and wish I never did. I wanted the ability to monitor the grill via WiFi and I liked the look of the Laredo. The Laredo takes forever to come up to temp unless I set it to HI and then back the temp down later. There is a major hot spot right in the middle of mine that registers almost 20 degrees fahrenheit hotter than anywhere else on the grill. Makes smoking larger cuts hard. The hopper design constantly causes pellets to not feed or fall into the auger when it's low. Pellets are in there, but won't fall. This can be avoided by just making sure it's full, but I try to keep my pellets as dry as possible and not leave a bunch just sitting in the hopper. I've read ways to fix all these problems, but at this point I'm just going to try to catch a gravity smoker on clearance and go that route.

I saw this too. Both the Pit Boss Austin XL Pellet Grill and a Cuisinart Twin Oaks Gas & Pellet Grill were the same price of $249. I'm a novice in anything about grilling but seeing this deal I want to buy one but which one? Any advice would be helpful! I'm leaning toward Cuisinart one because you can 2 fuel of both world??
