Costco membership is required for purchase.

Some of the ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium features include:
  • Black glass front with die cast zinc alloy metal frame

Check with your utility company. I found some utility company is having instant rebate for $75 plus $50 extra to enroll the program. and 2 pkg of smart sensor for $79 from bestbuy

I would never agree to let a power company control my thermostat.

The instant rebate do not require Power company to control the thermostat. and end up is still much cheaper than on the market.
