I'd only point out to try not to allow your pup/dog to spin around while playing with/enjoying the treats too much as you might avoid long term effects that way. Of course also pay attention to if your dog bites off too many pieces of the toy too. That might mean you need a more sturdy toy (black version kong or similar for instance).

What are the long term effects of a dog "spin(ning) around while playing with this"?
Also, i bought a pack of these to try; he keeps losing the treat dispensing ball that he loves so much, rolling it under things and it's lost for weeks. I need backups!

For losing the treat ball, try attaching a twine string/cord through the small opening they all (usually) have to something (like the dog crate or couch leg)...yes I had this issue too, make a large knot and be aware of tripping lol.
This was my dog's favorite type of play toy and to avoid messes I would let him take it into his crate/house often where he would "football hike" it to himself when he REALLY got into playing with it (it was adorable at the time) and turn around a lot. Years later, he had started having a "dizzy" problem that we've looked into multiple ways (checked for ear infections, inner ear tumors, and more). So when he wants to lay down, at times the circling is excessive and he does fall over from being dizzy. Now I would describe it as something similar to having vertigo as he's had it for years and it's progressed (especially after boarding him where they often get up as dogs/people pass by and circle to lay back down) to where he'll lie down (in a "flying superhero pose") to get himself together. Needless to say it really saddens me seeing him dealing with it. Even more so when seeing him having his "good days and bad days".
Yeah there's no way I'm giving my dog something from Amazon Basics lol. Who knows how well-made it is? Don't want him to choke on pieces of this.
