This deal typically goes FP and SD will replace the OP with their own template, which has less information. This leads to questions that have actually already been answered. Therefore posting the deal again as the first comment for ease of reference:
FYI Target is once again offering a free $10 Target gift card when you spend at least $100 in Apple gift cards online or in stores. The deal is valid 8/27 thru 9/2 according to page 17 of the weekly ad preview: https://weeklyad.target.com/promo...27&page=15 Ad indicates limit of 1 per guest, but YMMV in stores.
RedCard holders can save an additional $4.50. The discount is not equal to 5% ($5) because Target assigns a $10 charge to the "free" gift card and $90 for the remaining balance owed. Therefore RedCard 5% is based on $90 so the discount equals $4.50.
P.S. Apple has a limit of $2000 (*I believe*) to be saved to your Apple Account Balance + an additional 4 gift cards during checkout when using the Apple Store app, but the website checkout still allows 8. An individual gift card can also not exceed $2000.
As of iOS 15, you can add your Apple Account Balance as a card in the Wallet app. This helps to prevent some technical errors when shopping online, and allows for easier shopping when in a store.
I have a cashapp boost that offers 20% off any target purchases but has a max of $10. You presumably (if you have the boost avail) could use your cashapp card and basically pay $90 for this. Hopefully the boost will still be available on Sunday.
The only time people get their accounts banned is because they apply gift cards to their accounts that were obtained from sketchy sources where the gift cards were purchased with stolen credit cards. That can happen if you purchase from sites such as Eneba.
Buying and applying gift cards in ANY amount from an authorized seller such as Target that you purchase yourself will NOT result in this. So your warning doesn't apply here.

Because it is almost 15% off any apple purchase if you have use for the target gift card and use a target red card to purchase. You can use the apple gift card on subscriptions and any purchase at apple.com or store. Also sometimes Target has promos running where if you make a certain amount of purchases over a certain amount you get a bonus. One of those is not running right now afaik. Last one was make two purchases of $60 or more get an extras $10 target gift card. So you bought two $100 gift cards and ended up paying $95.5x2 for $200 in Apple Cards plus $30 in targets cards.

OMG i have the same thank you hopefully it works !!!
Unless it is very small, be extremely careful about loading too many gifts to your Apple account. I've seen so many people got their account banned by Apple for some stupid security reasons and you may never get your account and balance back. I've stopped buying any gift cards since both eBay and Amazon give me too much headache about them; hopefully, my Apple balance saving from the last couple of years won't give me the same issue when I make big purchase.

You're going to need to elaborate on this statement. Do you know any of these people personally or did you just read stories online? Is the ban you're referring to permanent?
No offense, but I think you might be referring to a different issue of Apple blocking transactions paid for with a gift card. This is NOT a permanent ban, and Apple support can fix it by calling them as they're aware of the issue. I say this from direct personal experience. Others have posted experiencing the same thing so I'm not an outlier.
If you are actually referring to a different situation as your post implies, please clarify. Thanks.

Thanks. I have it too and it expires in 6 days so should definitely work when the sale starts tomorrow!

Thanks for posting this. I have it as well. Boost "expires in 6 days" for me. Would not have checked without your post. Repped!

I have only seen this from people buying and redeeming gift cards from Eneba and other unauthorized retailers. Target is an authorized retailer for Apple gift cards so there shouldn't be an issue.
I believe there becomes issues if you load upwards of 2k onto your apple account. I have loaded about $700 on my account due to prior sales as I had planned to buy a mac or iphone from apple but ended up getting better deals elsewhere vs using BTO options. I will buy a few of them this sale and end up either getting the iphone 15 pro or maybe use the balance to buy an imac or other mac if theres a good BF sale and some good discounts, especially if they upgrade the imac or mba.

I have previously loaded $2k worth through these deals and bought a MacBook, had no issues whatsoever. Also did it with an iPhone.
