This has been cheaper at times but its been a while. For anybody who might need it now, this is a good price IMO

Not sure its a great price for a 4 person tent... when on sale, can go closer to the $100 range but of course, that's only if you're willing to wait a while and don't need it now.

Just remember a 4 person tent is really small. I recommend at least a 6 person tent for 2 people.. lol. It'll fit a Queen size mattress and some areas on the side for backpacks and other stuff but still not too much else. Here's a deal on a brand widely considered better than coleman for 6ppl:

This one is garbage. You need a rainfly. Got one for my son a few weeks ago for a week long Scout training course and water got in and he had to put a tarp over it. There are other pop-ups that include the fly that we've had and there were no issues with water. Also, $140 is not a good deal at all. These go down to around $100. Core is also good and I've luck w/ Walmart's brand - Ozark Trails.

Coleman has been relying on their name recognition but has really gone down in quality. We were also at the Jamboree in July and a few units had Coleman tents that had poles break and Coleman ignored their requests for replacement poles. We used REI's and they were great too (but not popups).

Also agree that a 4 person tent is good for 1 person. A 6 person tent is needed for 2.

Probably better off going for the Ozark Trail for $99. It has a rainfly and even a built in LED light.

I also agree with the other sentiments that if you're gonna have 2 people in the tent, you are way better off getting a 6 person tent.

Ozark trail has a few for $100-120 including light blocking version. The Core 6 person is still available on Amazon for $140, or the awning version for $135 from the Core website. Lastly, Sam's has Members Mark 6 person instant tents for $120, both normal and the light blocking versions.
