To actually answer your question you have to have the SN of a Canon camera. Call (866) 443-8002 and select option 2. You give them the SN and model of the camera you already have and they will give you the options for the loyalty discount.

correct, you existing camera needs to have some kind of glitch to have a need for repair. button intermittenly works, hot shoe contacts don't always work, etc. then they will ask for the SN of camera which enables discount.

Just a head's up, the loyalty discount is 10% off refurbished, but 20% off new. At $2500 new, 20% off brings it down to $2000. However, I'm not sure if a new r6mII would qualify; sometimes they delay providing loyalty discounts on recent higher end Canon models when purchased new, but worth looking into.
