The Walmart certified reconditioned Bluetti EB3A power station is available again. It was posted a few weeks ago and went OOS rather soon. I ordered one on Sunday and it was delivered today. Looks brand new.

I bought a certified refurbished at $114 and ended up returning it. It had the infamous inverter overload issue that plagues so many of these. Google it. There is no fix. I suspect most of the refurbished ones are returns of the ones afflicted.

Thanks for the insights. I bought it to power a portable fridge. Guess I'll hook it up to power the fridge out in the garage all weekend and see if it experiences the overload issue.

Keep in mind, it's most common when used as a ups so try that out.

Did not have good success in UPS mode. After week or two it goes into overload and turns off consumers even when power in on. Had it on my broadband router/modem combo, 30W total. After it happened with two different units gave up on the idea.

Same here except I paid more. I kept one for power outages to use as power bank with superfast recharge speed. Not usable for UPS.

I was debating whether to keep at that fantastic price. In the end I decided not to because I am if there's a faulty inverter causing this, it could eventually happen even during not using as ups. I ended up getting the ecoflow river and have been very happy even at less capacity.

Also bought one around the beginning of the month and it's been randomly shutting off in UPS mode which was its primary intent(no lead acid) . I should probably return it at this point. I told them I was willing to help troubleshoot and have access to the equipment and background to try, but communication from thier support outside of acknowledging my ticket has been non existent.

If your primary purpose is as a UPS, then it's a no-brainer to return it while in return period. This inverter overload issue is well documented (wish I knew this before I bought it). There is no solution including their weak attempts at firmware upgrade. Like I said, I am pretty sure almost all of these refurbs are returns of people with inverter overload issue.

Has anyone who bought a refurb not had this issue (must be using as ups)?

Well, since I'm not using it as a UPS, nor do I intend to, I'm going to keep it. I bought it solely to power a 26 quart BougeRV portable refrigerator in the back of my SUV without it draining my car battery while parked. In my hot Florida garage, and starting with the internal refrigerator at 89F, I plugged it in and it will cool the refrigerator down to 36F for 10+ hours. I imagine it will last even longer if I use my SUV's cargo area DC connection to initially establish the temperature in the refrigerator. I imagine it will probable maintain the temp for 12 hours or so, which is far more than I'll need it for.
