I know people praise Knipex and hate on tools from harbor freight, but I have been using my Doyle cobra pliers daily for over a year for work and they are still in great shape.

I got a pair of knipex pliers for xmas a couple years ago and I was blown away by how much better they grip than all my other pliers.

Awesome pliers way better than channel locks. The force is held on both sides of the lock instead of one side, like channel locks for anybody wondering. That's why they grip so much better. At least one of the reasons.
