Nice tent and relatively easy to set up. But be aware the mesh sides are open to the elements so its for warm climate use or you have to bundle up inside.

Not really. Rule of thumb I use for these kind of tents is that they will COMFORTABLY sleep half the stated maximum. So a 6 is good for 3 people. YMMV but if you see how Coleman shows sleepers hypothetically arranged and they are alternating direction so that one persons face is next to another's toes

The Sundome is a good tent — we have one — but the Skydome has more vertical walls, so a little more cubic footage for the footprint (and less claustrophobic, IMO). Simple domes are great for easy setup and wind resistance, but have their flaws.

Thanks, I've been looking for a larger tent so i can take all my kids. this looks like plenty of room for a dad and 3 kids. Also, it has built in lighting, which is cool.

Absolutely not. When you're car camping and weight isn't an issue, don't be afraid about buying a tent that's too large. My friend and I camp a few times a year and he and I share a six-person tent. He brings a queen size air mattress and I bring a queen size inflated mattress pad, and we both sleep very comfortably with room for our stuff in the tent.
