Sadly, not for me due to screen flicker (PWM) which is rarely used on the ThinPad line.

Although technically 2 generations old, these 5625U/5825U CPUs are still very good, they are based on Zen 3 architecture. The 7530U and 7730U processors are just rebrands of these processors.

If you have an Amex card, check your Amex Offers for $100 off $500 at Lenovo - that makes this really slick!

Is there any significant difference between the silver and black versions of the $499 laptop? The silver is sold out but the black is still available. I compared the specs and didn't see anything different.

If you have the amex offer, then this not a good deal. If you don't have the amex offer, then it's still not a good deal (pay 40 more to get 16gb all day).

In a no tax state here (Oregon). Just went ahead and purchased the office home and student for 129. With the Amex offer it came out to $488 total with shipping. Thanks a bunch!!
