I had the vanilla last time this Justin's went on sale. I didn't like it. I guess I like more flavor and sweetness. I'd rather just get honey roasted peanut butter (Peter Pan preferred).

Maranatha almond butter tastes great to me.

This solidifies pretty quickly and doesn't taste as good as other almond butters I've had

Ingredients: Dry roasted almonds, honey powder, (sugar, honey), palm fruit oil, sea salt

There's more sugar in this than Honey. Not that honey isn't pure sugar, but still.

I'd really like to try this brand as it seems quite popular. But the macro is pretty bad. Added palm oil, 4g of sugar per serving. The Costco version I've been using is delicious and the only ingredient is almond. Cheaper too.

It's a cheap way to stop natural oil separation and market it as "no stir".

It's in a lot of foods disguised as "vegetable oil".

Foods who's saturated fat content is 40% or more it's most times containing palm oil...

We eat lots of PB and we only get the natural ones. Each 26oz jar lasts about 2 weeks. Stirring each jar with a sturdy spoon takes less than a minute. I really don't understand what's the fascination with "no stir" unless you have arthritis or something that prevents you from stabbing the crap out of a jar with a metal spoon.

Anyway back on topic - every time I've had Justin's almond butter (the ones in the pouch) it's stale for some reason.

We make our own PB and AB. A Vitamix was one of the best investments I've made. Purchased one from a deal on this very website.

Bought this last time it was posted. Expiration date was the following month and over a 3rd was solidified. Didn't like it at all, 60% off a jar of sh*t isn't a good deal if you don't like the taste of sh&t.

I thought about that - considering dry roasted peanuts are about $2.50/16oz at Aldi I guess I'd save about $2/26oz jar. Not sure if it's worth the extra washing etc. Do you have a good source of cheap roasted peanuts?

It could be worthwhile considering the cheapest all natural PB is now Smuckers at $6.29 or whatever. It increased by about $1.50 just in the past year.

Clean up is pretty easy and the only we've found to get decent pricing is to buy in bulk and keep an eye out for sales.
