    actually the easiest on the eyes for reading is black backgournd, and grayish color on the text. It's kinda what the old monochrome displays did. Peace

    Shutterfly use to do custom playing card decks. I ordered a customized deck of cards with 54 different photos (2 jokers) for under $10 in a promotion about 15 years ago. I still use the deck of cards today and laugh at the photos. I checked with Shutterfly and now you can only use the same photo or a set of photos for the cards.

    When I was using Bicycle decks for regular poker night they would get worn out after about 12-16 hours of play in my experience. I basically treated them as disposable and bought the twelve packs of alternating color decks which were about $0.75/deck.

    These are pretty but both the dark mode and fyre bird make the numbers/colors/suits harder to see which is detrimental in fast paced games like spit, speed, or nertz

    I like the feel and durability of Bicycle, but if you are rough on cards maybe a plastic set like KEM, Modiano, or others

    Perhaps simply in terms of color scheme, but the font and overall design make these harder to read than a standard deck IMO.
