Costco will have the v15 on sale for 560 starting on the 30th.
What is the "Detect Extra" though. The Dyson site only shows a Detect and a Detect Absolute. Any idea which of the pulled-out-of-their-ass Detect names Costco will have?

Agree on hating all of these sub-SKUs for one product that each vendor has that have different attachments or filters. I really do wish that Dyson had a "compare all models of this generation" that showed what the differences are.
To answer your question though, I think it'll be the v15 Detect Total Clean Extra, although I don't know what the difference will be in the HEPA filter or accessories.
I did see on a Reddit thread that at the very least, it includes the newer Fluffy Optic head (which has a brighter laser) vs the older Fluffy Optic head that came with the original v15s and that the battery is still replaceable. If there was an accessory that is included in other v15s, hopefully Dyson will have it on their website available to purchase.

I'll end up going for the Costco deal regardless, but it would be nice to know what I'm getting. I got a German Shephard from the shelter recently, and it's about killed the Shark I've had for the last 5 years. I need to step up the game, though my younger self would be laughing at me wanting to spend $500+ on a vacuum cleaner.
