Air Canada is horrible. Just got stranded for 3 days due to an unannounced pilot strike in July. I will never fly them again. Horrible customer service at every level.

Not seeing it, more than double the pricing shown in US dollars for various selected dates.

I don't think I've seen a post on here ever in any other currency. It would definitely say AUD or CAD otherwise. USD is the default.

It's always the currency of the country you're starting the trip from. For eg. If your trip starts from the US (US- Aus- US), you pay in USD

There's nothing much to do in Australia? Or Sydney specifically? I suppose it depends on where you are from, and how far you are willing to go from Sydney. But to get to most of Australia, you are going to have to go through Sydney. And there's plenty to do once you get to Australia.

It usually uses the currency of the Departure location, Seattle in this case, so USD. Although Air Canada (and others) allow you to change between a few currencies they support.

Had some friends and family that were also affected. Family members booked well before Air Canada workers dropped their current contract in favor of a new one, so they had no idea.
My friend(s) booked after it was announced the workers were dropping their current contract, so I feel less bad for them.

Why a "thumb down" for a perfectly useful piece of information?

Let me guess, Disney in Orlando is the best destination ever, and you go every year?
