A heads up that wyze often raises their "buy with prime" price to be above their website's price. NOT IN THIS INSTANCE, but a warning to the wise.

It says on the website:
"No, it does not support Wyze Cam v1/v2 or Wyze Cam Pan v1/v2 because they cannot communicate with the lamp socket. Wyze Cam Outdoor is also not supported because the USB cable is not designed to support this camera, and would compromise the camera's built-in waterproofing."

not sure what it means specifically about "communicating" with the lamp socket.

of course the FAQ also says you cannot use it without a Wyze Cam:
"No, you must have at least one Wyze Cam v3 connected to the lamp socket."
even though it advertises using it without it in the pictures? (picture 6 of 8 on the product page, left hand side)

I must have just been lucky, I didn't notice a difference and must have just went with "buy with prime" as I didn't even seen another option haha

I really like that the camera also controls the light being on or off and the motion detected on the camera turns light bulb on a great system

I thought it was saying you got a Cam v3 with the socket at first. Says one is in the box. But the purchase options are socket or bundle, then the description calls it's a starter kit or expansion kit. Sigh...

I finally found "Buy with Prime" inside the iOS Wyze App under their Shop tab and got free shipping. I did NOT see it in my Safari Browser.
