Seriously? Let's be real. Nobody is preferring items to be made in China over Japan.

A more realistic statement is that not all Chinese manufactured items are horrible.

As are a large percent of japanese products.... Hondas are more American made now than ever...

Still a good bottle and great price for those in the know. Has been cheaper for 2 pk of 40 in the past directly from Takeya and you can buy more o rings. 18oz deal is very good

I can second this, I've had one for a couple of years, on a road trip to Monterey I left it sitting next to my car and forgot it, started reversing the car and ran it over - it's got a big 'ol dent but still works great and now has some "character" Stick Out Tongue
