I specifically searched slickdeals for this exact grinder, but this post didn't show up. I then went off on my own and found this deal independently, placed my order, and came back to share. Only then did slickdeals show it to me. Not sure what's up with that?

Oh well. Repost averted.

Seattle Coffee Gear also offers an additional 10% off with email and text sign up. No problem stacking the deals, so I ordered it for $264 before tax.

I've been waiting ages for this darn thing to go on sale. Getting excited. This will be my first real filter coffee grinder.

I'm only seeing ssp burrs down to 157.25 from 185, that's barely 15%, am I missing anything or did they change the deal?

The sale is actually "up to 25%." The grinder is also less than 25% off. That being said, I've had my eye on the ode 2 and purchased this when it first dropped in price earlier this week. Seems like a solid price. Guessing they've finally cleared out enough of their gen 1 grinders to feel comfortable to start discounting these.

Also should note that other vendors like Amazon have also matched this price. I actually purchased from sur la table since they had more cashback.
