Good deal, but lowes and home depot reviews are not so good.
As checked in Home Depot Max. Airflow (CFM)
Is 2689 which is very low for the speed. I would recommend at least 5000 cfm fan for a good speed. Also it's warm white bulb included and I would like daylight. Does anyone recommend a fan with 5000 and above cfm fan with daylight bulb or integrated LED ?

Got a refurd of one of these a few months back and really like it. It's in our modest sized bedroom and medium fan speed is plenty high enough. It is very quiet and no wobble. The LED lights give off good brightness too.

In the market for a fan to replace an existing one. Others are right, the reviews on Hd/Lowes aren't great. Most comment on the motor making a humming noise. The rest seem to be complaints about installation. One thing to note is apparently this uses standard bulbs rather than an integral LED panel like many fans. Also, the reversing switch is within the lighting portion of the unit which means you need to remove the glass to access. Generally this is only something you'll be doing twice a year so not a tremendous hassle, but many fans build this functionality into the remote.

A good ceiling fan will save money and add to home comfort both summer and winter. Try for Energy Star reversible DC motor fans that have high customer ratings. Buy from a reputable seller with a good warranty or return policy. Size the fan to your room. Some fans with built-in LED lights have a low CRI rating, resulting in a really ugly-glary warehouse lighting effect. Fan lights where you can supply your own higher quality LED bulbs may be preferred. "Bargain" fans that otherwise don't meet the above specs may serve just fine in rooms that aren't used much, like the laundry area. DC motors are preferred where the fans are in frequent use since they cost less to run.

I ordered , received and the manufacturer box actually states CFM around 4800 at max speed - right on outside, big and bold.

I had one of these previously from Costco for a similar price. Wasn't too hard to install, and thought it gave off good airflow for our 12x12 bedroom, and was plenty quiet and did not wobble. The lights are also bulbs which means you can switch to the type of light you want (warm/cool/etc). Definitely would repurchase if I was in the market for a fan

Let me know if you find a DC motor fan with four E26 sockets (or compatible with such a light kit) for under $600, I'll be in the market soon enough. Integrated LEDs make the whole thing disposable if the LED driver saved a few pennies on capacitors. E12 sockets are poopy, but at least they are sockets.

Here I am considering running raceways from unlit fans to surface mount panels to get both usable light and a DC motor without wading in my insulation. Americans must love living in dimness as the only alternative to can lights.

Bought three of these for our new house a few months ago from Costco. Fans look great, have no wobble but the reviews are right, all 3 make a humming noise. When I complained to Hunter, they wanted me to take down all the three fans and send them back for replacement. Too much hassle for me to do that at this time. Don't recommend these given how many people have experienced the humming noise issue. If you are okay with the noise, these are good.
