011 is a premium case. 216 is a budget case. You will need to add fans to 011 -- ST120s are $40 for 3. If you add 9 fans, that another $120. But it's well worth it.

I like your idea. Is it worth adding some ST120s to Lancool 216 as well? If so, how many would you suggest?

The 216 comes with 2 160 fans in front and an additional fan in the back. It has room to add fans to the bottom or the top. I wouldn't recommend adding fans to the bottom - the air is blocked by the bottom tray. You could add 3 fans to the top . Adorama has used 216s for$50 and open boxes for $75. Again, the 216 is budget case. You can step up the LanCool II or III for a little bit more. For an extra $20 you get a much better case. And for the deal you found on the 011, that's one of the best cases on the market - but you do need to spend an additional $100 for fans.
I had the white O11 Dynamic - beware that this will likely not fit RTX 4080 or 4090 cards in horizontal mount as they're too tall and will not fit the 12VHPWR power adapters that come with those cards. Even if you had a PCIE 5 PSU with a direct connection, it will still likely not bend enough to fit. Also be super careful about bending power adapters - there have been reports of 4080/4090 cards burning up because of this. TLDR make sure you're fine to vertically mount large GPUs with this case.

So which case for 4090 over 340mm would you recommend?

Your comment means a lot to me. Not because I'm planning to get a 4090, but because it inspired me to check the CPU cooler clearance of this case, which is 155mm—the smallest in the entire O11 family. This case can't comfortably accommodate many CPU air coolers, can it? Are you using water cooling for your CPU?
