FWIW price of these might go lower in the next weeks. Apple is likely to ditch the
Lightning connector for USB-C when the iPhone 15 is announced. There will then be a new USB-C case and the model w/ these Lightning cases will get clearanced out.

What you're saying is true plus they've been out for a while. The price should be more like $150 for a good deal right now.

These AirPods Pros are excellent buds, but definitely agree with the other posters that there will be (and have been) better pricing available on these guys, and particularly once Apple continues their migration away from the Lightning charging connection to USB-C, continuing with the iPhone 15 line likely next month. I personally have a ton of lighting-powered devices and don't have an issue sticking with them for the time-being (even just got a deal on a 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro for my wife and I recently).

It's good Apple is moving (being forced to move lol) to an industry-standard, but if you already have an iPhone, and other Apple gear, that uses Lightning, and don't already own AirPods.. Might as well wait a few more weeks for some likely deals. Think CostCo, BestBuy, Staples and Verizon go figure sometimes have the best deals on these.
