I have used the 1TB of OneDrive storage that comes with an Office 365 Personal (now called Microsoft 365 Personal) for about 5 years now, as that is the cheapest online storage I'm aware of, and whenever I see a deal at or below $30 on here or eBay I usually grab one, to push my expiration date out another year.
I'll probably never use Nord, but will give it away to one of my friends.
I bought 1 yesterday afternoon on Antonline, and even though it is marked as a physical item (mentions Free Ground Shipping and asks for shipping address at checkout), the keys arrived via E-mail - Nord arrived first about 2 hours after I ordered, and then Microsoft 365 arrived maybe 20 mins after that.
Before applying my new key, I looked at my current expiration date for my Microsoft 365 Personal subscription by visiting https://account.microso
Then I browsed to https://office.com/setup to get to the screen where I apply the product key I just received.
After it accepted my key, it wanted me to confirm my credit card for auto-renew, which I did as there's no option not to (but I'll describe disabling it later), and then it had me agree to the Microsoft Services Agreement again.
Then it displayed "Success! You've just renewed Micorsoft 365", and so I went back to https://account.microso
I don't want auto-renew though (I would NEVER pay full price), so I clicked on Manage Subscription, and then "Turn off auto-renew."
This part is scummy on Microsoft's part - on the screen it says in front of a yellow warning-like background "Please review: You may lose edit access to your files and more", which is only true after my subscription expires, and only if I don't add another code by then, which I will.
REALLY scummy of Microsoft is that they labeled the button to turn off auto-renew with "I don't want my subscription", and on the page it does not clarify that your account will still work until the expiration date (you'll still get what you paid for) when you click it.
Since I knew I would still get to use it through my expiration date, I went ahead and clicked on the "I don't want my subscription" button, and then it displayed a confirmation message of "You turned off auto-renew for your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription" and then goes on to say "Your subscription will end on (my end date, a long time from now) but you can subscribe again any time..."
Thanks again Red_Liz for posting this.
I added the M365 code to my existing M365 subscription and then turned off auto-renew. No issues.

I went to double check and it was 79 dollars, it's actually 86 right now for 27 months but not sure if that's a price just for me since I am logged in or anyone

Ah well, I'll just remove some stuff for when my OneDrive bonus storage runs out. I don't believe this is $30 very often.
Edit: Looks like it is live again. Plus I could order 5 of these. So tempted. So do not want to spend 150 either, been buying too many "wants" lately. 😁

I use Nord VPN once in a while if I need to download a torrent (very rarely). The speeds are good. Nord didn't work the last time I tried for the Xbox game pass loophole. I believe I was able to use my free Windscribe plan to get around it.
I find the Office 365 plan to be a great value. The Office apps are useful when needed, but for me the storage is what makes the sub worth it... With that being said, it felt like bait and switch tactic when my subscription expired because I stopped receiving new emails. I was way over my free data allotment between all Microsoft services. The only way to continue receiving emails was to comb through 100's of GB of data between Xbox, onedrive, and my email... It's a bigger ordeal than it sounds. The other option was to renew Office 365. I would've been beyond pissed if the plan was more than $35, and I hadn't already been considering renewing it anyways. I never was able to recover the few days of missing email. Luckily my Microsoft email is mostly for spam.
