I think testing seems to show that Knipex are generally the best, but Channellock are only about one step below that.

Decent purchase for 9 bucks a tool. Channel-lock is an American company from Pennsylvania and they turn out pretty good tools using quality materials. Their fit and finish could probably be a little better but they'll take a beating and they will last. They are independent and privately owned so your money is going directly to hard working people, not share holders or investors.
