I'm just going to put this out there… I have two sets of these, bought two years apart, both of which had the control unit die on me. Both units were replaced under warranty, only for the replacement control panel to also die on me a few months back. I now have a group of panels that simply don't work and are basically wall decoration — I imagine the other control unit is going to go out soon too. I only turn them on when I'm downstairs to game or watch movies, which isn't often, and they are never left on for more than a few hours at a time. It's crazy that these cost as much as they do when the reliability is this poor. Nanoleaf won't be getting any more of my money.

Hmm weird... Been using these exact ones for two years now, no issue whatsoever (knock on wood). I have these on whenever I'm awake.

Nice. Best price Ive seen on them from a big reseller like Amazon. Have hundreds of these panels from their Canvas and Shapes lines. Lots of fun and lots of cool designs can be made from them. Will say, the Canvas series has been the most solid and by far gets the most complements. The Shapes controllers are junk, but the latest version seems to work better than the first. All seven of my first gen dies and had to be replaced under a recall from Nanoleaf.

I think it's the lowest ever?
Not a fan of the square design on it (have the triangles myself) but great price.

I have the original triangle rhythm set in my daughters room. Not only are they great for a night light because they're dimmable but she has used them for years to create "dance parties" because if you buy the additional piece, you can sync them to music. I love Nanoleaf products.

I have 2 sets of these and though I love them I am very underwhelmed by them. Once on the wall I have inky used them a handful of times over the last 2 or 3 years and the patterns on the app are just okay. I am not sure what I expected but not in love. Also one of the power cords did break after the first year but just used the one from the other set.

Thanks! I have boys though so they're not much into dance parties..I hope these are not too bright at night when you dimmed them at max.

Ditto on this… My triangles have had no issues in 5 years but these canvas quality control is atrocious. I've gone through 3 control panels and i haven't even bothered to install my newest replacement.

FYI I've had the canvas on for probably less than 20-25hrs in three years and it's died 3 times

Similar situation. Luckily I bought from Costco so I've been protected

Control panel failed on my one set as well. Covered by warranty after a bunch of troubleshooting nonsense with customer service (including having to send photos and even videos).

I have their previous triangles and the later shapes panels as well. So far the hardware on those seem to be holding up, but yeah, even under heavy discount, these things are all overpriced. Their app also completely sucks where any random light will show as "unreachable" for no apparent reason, which I'm pretty sure has to do with whatever garbage network software they're using since automation also fails randomly.

Of the 4 smart light companies I have the most experience with (Philips, Nanoleaf, LIFX, and Govee), Nanoleaf is 3rd best, and only by a nose over LIFX.
