I've never ridden this one, but looks like a pretty good price for an okay tandem. I would prefer disc brakes and a slightly more modern drive train, but at least the drivetrain is upgradable.

Seems like an low end Tandem with fixable issues from the reviews, but for $286.....hard not to pull the trigger.

An aluminum fork on a tandem? That's odd. I'd have to add a Surly Trucker or some other hefty steel fork to support that weight.

No disc brakes either Frown

Would "risk" buying it if I had the space...just to prove points to the wife asking for one for a decade...this things are unwieldy large though and unless you have a truck, really hard to transport.

On flatter pavement, it should be fine despite the basic components.

make sure to use a DH fork with at least 150mm of travel to make sure it's ready for some sick tandem trail jumps! I think I saw a berm peak express about this once
