Seeing this movie in one of those theaters with the larger screens and having no idea what to expect going in was an incredible experience. Too bad this isn't available anywhere in 4k - this movie deserves it.

It likely will be soon-ish. The HD streaming version actually got updated in the last year or two, which means a new master was produced. While it's possible that the new master is for streaming-only, it's unlikely they would go through all that effort and not put out a new disc. This bluray has been showing up at clearance price for a while now, so I'm predicting that once they sell through most of the copies they'll bring out the 4k.
I was able to get the Children of Men/Repo Men combo pack for about this price, so anyone who is on the fence may want to wait

I have this in combo form bluray and HD DVD. Crazy that back then they made that media and it was only around for a few years! What a waste!
