if you're the kind of guy who likes to spend your weekends rescuing hostages and stabbing bad guys, this might be the knife for you

Good luck in some states. My homie got picked up by the Michigan State Police for having a blade like this in the glove box while we were in the UP. Got stopped for speeding, MSP smelled marijuana (we don't smoke) and did a search.

Under Michigan law, the following knives cannot be conceal carried:
Double-edged, non-folding (fixed-blade) stabbing instrument of any length

Thanks OP... I lost my last one to the TSA... It's terrible feeling when you forget about a knife in your carry-on and the looks you get from the TSA and the other folks around you.

I bought this around 10 years ago. I use it as a boot knife when I go to shady places. I don't think this is meant for repeated use but only for that "special occasion".

Nice price minimum between a handgun for $$$+, and a pair of running shoes for $$. Good luck, and if it doesn't work out SD will disavow any knowledge of your mission.

Just being polite and calling the police is a separate tack.

Can you fight off a mountain lion with this? I want something to carry on a solo hike/backpacking that I never ever plan to use. Already carry a bear spray.
The first reviews with pictures show you can bend the blade with just a light thumb pressure.

Bought in 2016 for $16.95. Still looks like new. Never used it. It's for special attacks only.

I know this feeling. Had a cigar lighter and cutter in my bag last time. They were like "you wanna run this to your car?" Nah, it's a $3 lighter and cheap cutter. But the shame of having it in there/getting bag checked was worse than losing 3 bucks.

I was on the fence if I needed to add to the collection. And then I read an Amazon review that it's a great letter opener. That's enough for me! I always could use another letter opener!

It's a nice classic design (based on the Fairbairn-Sykes dagger), seems well-built, solid price. I don't tend to buy S&W anymore, but once in awhile I'll get something (and if I didn't have a few other F-S style daggers I likely would).
Did you read the reviews? Look at the picture of the guy pressing his thumb against the blade and it bending. That is NOT sturdy! Also other negative reviews showing the blade broken. Not only that, but the handle is small and a man's hands don't even grasp it well because the bottom of your hand where the pinky finger is, struggles to get a hold of the bottom of the handle.

This is 100% a pass! $10 gets you a $10 knife, it's worth about this price and that is it. don't expect it to hold up to any kind of stress.

Can I punch this through a car door over and over without it breaking, or do I need to stick with my Gerber Mark 1?
