if you're the kind of guy who likes to spend your weekends rescuing hostages and stabbing bad guys, this might be the knife for you

Good luck in some states. My homie got picked up by the Michigan State Police for having a blade like this in the glove box while we were in the UP. Got stopped for speeding, MSP smelled marijuana (we don't smoke) and did a search.

Under Michigan law, the following knives cannot be conceal carried:
Double-edged, non-folding (fixed-blade) stabbing instrument of any length

A machete? What are you... British?

A machete lacks the nuance and ability to cackle like a Shakespeare villain while the knife you literally stabbed then in the back with is held aloft. See how that makes for a scene worthy of your dreams you tell your waifu like every night?

A MACHETE??? Pffffffft.

In for 5. Going to hide them all over my bedroom in Mom's basement and my '93 Civic. Because when the time is right, I'm 400+ lbs and having not left the basement in three weeks for any reason... I mean not ANY reason... I need to have one in arms reach at all times. I break a sweat standing up. Now I won't when it's stabby time!!

Thanks OP!!
😂😂 You just made my day

Can you fight off a mountain lion with this? I want something to carry on a solo hike/backpacking that I never ever plan to use. Already carry a bear spray.
The first reviews with pictures show you can bend the blade with just a light thumb pressure.
If you can fight off a mountain lion with this, I think you deserve your own TV show...

These go under $15 several times a year, but this is the lowest I've seen in awhile.

Looks like I got mine in August 2017 for a buck more. It's held up to a lot of abuse and I think I'll pickup another one. Would be a solid dagger at twice this price imo.

Are you a producer?

Grizzly bear no way with any blade. Mountain lion, I'll take my chances if I can get a show out of it.

I'm not saying I wont get bit and/or claw gashed. I am just pretty sure I'll be limping away at the end of it with kitty dead.

DM me your contact info.

P.S. I bought this as a letter opener.

I know this feeling. Had a cigar lighter and cutter in my bag last time. They were like "you wanna run this to your car?" Nah, it's a $3 lighter and cheap cutter. But the shame of having it in there/getting bag checked was worse than losing 3 bucks.
Once I had a lighter that said "This is my f'n lighter" on it.

When I returned from my flight, I went to Lost and Found and asked for my F'n lighter back. The person laughed and knew exactly which one it was. LMAO

This only worked because it was a small commuter airport. Like the kind that hand checks everything. I would have never gotten it back if I had flow the big airport.

Nice! With the cooler weather coming, I expect to be working around the yard more. Might be nice to carry this for self defense. Pistol packing just seems too flashy... (& looks like overkill sometimes, ya know?).

Lol, you willing to work this cheap? Of course it's made in China, and guess what, Chinese people know a thing or two about knife making.
