It's light and compact and although it costs a lot less than a Milwaukee or Dewalt, it keeps up with them without a problem. I've dropped it from 9 feet a few times and about 5 feet many, many times and it still hasn't broken.
I got mine with two batteries and I rarely have to charge mine during the day. They usually last all day unless I spend a lot of time driving long screws. For normal framing, it's fine.
Okay, I do think there are three things that Metabo could improve.
1. There should be a battery gauge somewhere on the tool. I know that the larger batteries have it but I usually use the small battery because I like light weight on my belt.
2. They should include the belt clip with the tool. I had to buy it separately.
3. This is kind of a nitpick but the charger has a flashing red light when the battery is done, not when it's charging. I wish they had just a red and green light.
That's it, I'm gonna buy a spare on this deal just because it will be nice to have another battery, and having a backup tool and charger is a good thing!
I recommend this tool.

Probably prices vary by location. I'm seeing $69.50 for Dallas store
$119 for me. That lower price is regional clearance of some sort. I have almost a dozen metabo stores, and these are always about $120 with battery.

Everything about this screams "shill"
Han, I am in same boat. I concur with this dude, but I did get tired of the 1.5ah batteries, but my work involves a good bit of drilling. I found 3ah to be my sweet spot
