Pros:
-multiple useful positive miter stops including for cutting crown flat
- smooth sliding
- shadow line is superior to laser in every way except for using in direct sunlight
- you can't find a saw with this feature set anywhere close to this price range from a major brand
- very easy to adjust and change blades
Cons:
- poor dust collection
- shadow line is worthless in direct sunlight
- no positive BEVEL stops so you need to manually lock
- left bevel requires you to turn a handle that is VERY difficult to turn on my unit. It feels like I'm going to break it, but it could just be my unit.
- sliding miter saws take up more space. For my purposes I coulda gotten away with a fixed blade 12", but for the price and how much cheaper blades are I opted for the 10"
All around it's a great saw and I have used it heavily over the last few months.

I sort of stay away from this design of miter saws because it takes up so much back space with the sliding bars sticking so far back. The delta and bosch have better sliding saw designs. Its not a big deal if you have a big shop and might not be as bad with a 10" vs a 12" saw.
Good thing this didn't pop up last year when i was looking for a small miter to take with me for some small projects at had going on. I ended up just using a circular saw I already had and saved the money.
