The reviews all state it is super thin and one that the waist is not designed well when it rides up, due to the elastic it does fall back down.

Often, ppl assume that Patagonia is universally a good product.

But clearly, that is not only the case (btw, I often buy Patagonia stuff at their BnM locations on clearance)

I have this jacket. It's fine but it runs a bit large so I'd say size down if you want a better fit.

This is a downgrade from nanopuff.
And yes, the elastic band around waist is a little annoying. If zipper is not latched, then it leaves belly area exposed, sometimes with hand pockets almost behind you.

This is basically street wear. Nanopuff is a proper outdoor jacket.

Keep in mind the MSRP is half the price of their thicker jackets, so temper your expectations accordingly. Don't expect this to have the thickness/warmth of their $300-400 down jackets/"sweaters."

I don't know what they were thinking with the elastic on the bottom. This coat just wants to ride up all day long. This year I'm going to cut the elastic off its really annoying.

Whenever you move your arms up the bottom of the jacket comes up but gets stuck and doesn't go down on its own
