Just got my refurbished chromebook from Acer. Out of the box the screen has gone completely white or black and become non functional. It's also frozen three times requiring a hard reset. These issues have resolved with a reset, but it happens frequently enough that this is basically a non functional unit (ie: it happens every time I use it.)
Contacting Acer to see if they will exchange for a new one.
