FLIR App (Android)
require to turn on WiFi to use the camera.
camera does not connect via WiFi.
WiFi does not need to be connected to anything.
Not sure why exactly.
But I think it is something to do with device's permission.

I have this in it's USB-C config, it's not worth the $400+ typical selling price new, but you can find them new and used for about half and that's when I bought mine.

Things to note:
-- This is not night vision capable in the traditional sense, although, this will let you see in the dark "Predator style" as 'petas' already mentioned.
-- Many have complained about the battery. I have not had any issues with mine, but I only every use mine in 30 min intervals max. If you need to run for hours on end, you'll need external power to keep it going.
-- They can be adapted to different connector configurations and run from extension cables, depending on your hardware and device.

So in my opinion, if you can get one in the $200 ish range, you probably wont ever regret the purchase. Cheers 🍻
