It looks like they cut prices on the Model X and Model X Plaid. The base Model X now sells for $79,990 while the Plaid now sells for $89,990. All color options are included too. It also seems as if it might now qualify for a tax credit.

Edit: Model S prices were slashed too.

Model S base model $74,990
Model S Plaid $89,990

Well, at least the strip mines for EV battery minerals are similar to coal strip mining...we have the technology. Oh, and look...coal shipments (and burning) is on the rise. https://www.freightwaves.com/news...sus%202022.

"Lithium extraction has adverse impacts on the environment, like any other mineral that we mine for. However, similar to coal and gas, lithium mining can result in soil degradation, water shortages, biodiversity loss, damage to ecosystem functions, air contamination and, overtime, an increase in global warming."

Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are the poster children of frugality. Bill Gates used to cut his own hair with scissors in front of his mirror and used to fly coach in the early days, even when he was a billionaire already. Then you got Buffet who is even more cheap than Gates, Buffet bought a used 20 year old Lexus and a $38,000 old house that he still lives in to this day.
Buffet is famously weird. Normal "rich" people just make decent money-- say $200k/year, and spend less than that-- say $100k/year, by not living super lavishly, which mostly means not buying super expensive things. The rest accumulates and stocks and then boom you're "rich".

FYI if you didn't know, Hertz rents Tesla's and other EVs if you want to try one. They seem to have a bunch, I got one for $40 bucks a day and it was a ROCKET I couldn't believe it I floored it and the g-force pressed me in the seat.
Did you rent a Model x at $40 per day or a Model 3?
Then charging was free or paid?

Why did you preorder the CT for if it's not for the bed?

it's called compounding. Einstein said; "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn't, pays it."

Nariz is a troll. You can't rent a model 3 for $40 a day. Hertz don't have Model X.

Sure. And 100k in savings compounds 10x more than 10k.

60k mile warranty. For 70k dollars. That's more expensive than using uber every day, for the rest of your life.

Sure. And 1MM compounds 10x more than 100K. What's your point? You only have 10k?
