If you have mortgage then your take home pay is like $9500 per month at $150k. The model x costs about $8000 per year if you own it for 8 years (after tax credit.). Not too crazy.

Because there are lots of drag cars that'll do much quicker. But at the same time, ok, 0-60 in under 2 seconds in a straight line. That's the only thing it has going for it, fun wise. Useless on a track. No engine sound. Terrible steering wheel. Terrible QC. Yeah, electric will be even faster in the coming days, but there's nothing particularly exciting about EVs. Everything about cars that made people, 'car people' are gone with an EV.
