And if you enjoy tech there is no one close to their app, car update & autopilot. I just did my first camping night in the back of the MY with the SO. Only used a 8% battery to keep us nice and comfortable. The vehicle is very enjoyable to drive. When I have a tesla virgin in my car the amount of wtf moments are hilarious. Not just the speed. "Why did the car ding?" The light turned green. "It knows that!" "What do you mean you don't need to hit the brake?"
I guess until you experience it you'll just be left in the dark with a I don't like change attitude. Regardless electric revolution is here. And you'll be hard pressed to buy ICE after 2030.

Tesla is #1 in putting the "dealer markup" on the pricing day 1 before pulling the rug on everyone to the real pricing.
Haven't had any issues with it besides small cosmetic complaints. I.e. some noise in the door panel which they fixed, my seat motor had an issue so they replaced the seat. But the few times I was at the service center I had mostly positive experience. I also had to replace 6 tires(21" rims and bad luck) and replaced them with Tesla each time with a mobile mechanic that comes to my house. Super fun to talk to these guys, they know the anatomy of their cars in such detail. Had some great conversations with them, definitely gives me confidence in their mechanics' abilities.
Paid for another 4 years of warranty. Haven't noticed obvious battery degradation.
One thing I dislike is the lack of customer support with Tesla. If I want to call and complain or ask a question it's not really an option.
Another one is the quality control. These are expensive vehicles but the panels misalign slightly. Just test drove the latest model x and had the same misalignments and worse than my 2019 S. I also can't care less about the FSD, I would much rather tesla invests that money to make the cabins more quiet(they are quiet but try a mercedes s class, that's ultra quiet) or add more details like Rivian add to their trucks.
Overall I am interested in buying a model x now. Can't go back to ICE cars, feels so inconvenient to stop at gas stations, change oil or break pads. All things I hated about my previous vehicle.
Have a friend who got a 2015 model s. Still drives it, battery is holding well according to him.

P.s. oh and for god's sake when are they going to add a bird's eye view(360 degree) view. My car has 8 cameras, what are they waiting for…
