It looks like they cut prices on the Model X and Model X Plaid. The base Model X now sells for $79,990 while the Plaid now sells for $89,990. All color options are included too. It also seems as if it might now qualify for a tax credit.

Edit: Model S prices were slashed too.

Model S base model $74,990

Lemme guess.

You got that on Leasehackr and were gonna flip it, but you were late to the party and the bottom fell out. Right?

Nope.

Buddy I'd highly recommend checking out leasehackr website if you decide to lease again. My friend got the 2022 grand Cherokee 4xe for 36 months at 379/month at 15k miles. Check out the "signed" tab on the website and scroll to May or June 2023 and you'll see the deal pop up.

Mine was optioned out and not just the 4xe base. I did use leasehackr.

We won't buy this junk car. Tesla is not for us. For long ride, you'll need to bring the generator with gasoline to charge this. It doesn't make any sense. Don't even start talking about the pricey battery replacement. It's better off to purchase a hybrid or gas cars.
You CLEARLY have no idea about EVs. Don't post your opinion again.

Just like with my gasoline car after 300 miles I need to stop and refuel. Granted the Tesla takes 20 minutes for a decent top up rather than 3-5 minutes for gas, but it's not like options don't exist. Most people don't travel hundreds of miles on a daily basis. Even if you drive 100 miles a day you can charge it at night in your garage.

The only decent point is that batteries have a finite lifespan.

Weird, the used Teslas on their website more expensive than new!

https://www.tesla.com/inventory/u...&zip=78717

Did they just not update it with the price drop?

The cheapest used ones I see there are still ~5k cheaper than the cheapest new one when I switch from used to new in the same zip code...and those highest priced used ones also include paid options the base new one doesn't including the $12,000 FSD option.

Lol a lot of people own several cars and don't only have a Tesla. My Tesla is mainly used as my daily commuter. Not sure why you would assume everyone uses these cars when traveling long miles. That's what my 2023 Escalade is for to travel in comfort and luxury my guy!

What is cost to set up home charging?
When I got my model S tesla gave me a wall connector for free. I plugged that in my dryer outlet(had no dryer at the time) and that was it. Otherwise you might want to install a 30+amp outlet in your garage if you don't have one.

Can the Escalade go that far without breaking down?

Model X accessory price increase 4X from $250 to $1000 if anyone was interested in the yoke vs a regular steering wheel. After test driving one this weekend, the yoke captured my interest.
