You really have to be conscious about the type of conditions you're normally driving in.
What my research has shown is that most name brand tires still vary, but they don't perform horrible in any one category. Whereas the the budgets may and often do.
I urge you to do a bit more research just to make sure those tires perform well in the elements you drive in.
Check out consumer reports, Tyre reviews.com (European, but really great information) and just watch some reviews on Google. Get some more data points.
I was horrified to learn that some tires work great on dry, but are just outright terrible on wet roads. This could very well put you and your passengers at risk.
I would consider myself very frugal, and I would agree there are a lot of premium tires out there that are very much hype or provide very marginal differences. But just be careful. These tires are your only connection between the vehicle and the road. Just want you to be safe and save money

Same. I was hopeful there would be a significant difference looking there, but no. The only advantage buying there, for me at least, would be the potential use of eBay credit through deal apps like Capital One or the like. Also kind of odd that none of the installers they offer, at least through the ebay purchase, are Discount Tire shops, even though the are numerous in my vicinity.
I've been looking at bridgestone ecopia 422 plus for my TE37 for 8 months. They were 109 each from gigatires before April but I forgot to order. then for some reason, ALL tires across the board went up 30% for everyone. supply issues? rise in rubber?
I really miss the days of ordering tires from out side of CA to avoid tax and fees with free shipping.
going to order from ebay and stack the bridgestone $70 off: https://www.bridgestone
It is the same price. I just researched two brands of tire.
edit 3:
so the best method is go to: DiscountTireDirect.com and order. instant saving without signing up for account and no tire service request. so direct shipped to your home to get them mounted yourself. then go to the tire mfg company to submit your rebate claim for additional savings.

https://www.bridgestone
https://www.michelinman
so $110 instant + $70 coupons mfg submission.
Lucky for the other users that got the 110 + 80 mfg instant deal before they fixed the web site.
I wonder if the michelin $110 mail in rebate is stackable: https://www.michelinman
The sentury tires I got were way better value than a lot of the other brands and have been offering great performance for the cost.

I'm assuming the deal you posted does NOT include free rotation?

You can pricematch at any discount tire store to the discounttiredirect website and have them installed right there without having the tires shipped to you first( if they have them in stock, otherwise they will order for you) BUT there is a chance that this is an error with duplicate instant discounts and may be corrected tomorrow which will not be good if you were planning on having the store match as the extra discount may be gone by the time you get to the store. You can take a screenshot now but Ymmv on that.

I got it price matched but didn't pay attention until later. Reason being if I end up claiming their certificate at a later date, they'll refund/replace based on the adjusted tire price.
Will be heading to the store tomorrow to get it corrected.
