How do you feel like the B3? Is the brightness enough for a bright room?

I'm need a 75-85 inch TV and really can't make up my mind between B3, U8K, and QM8. Also in a bright room, 1080P or 4K content.

I dont know anything about those other TVs, but in bright Arizona sun in a room where 2 of the walls are just glass.. its perfectly bright, I wouldnt want it any brighter. And its not even at full brightness.

I wouldnt worry about brightness.. think about it. No one in the right mind has their C3 at full blast full brightness... they are likely using brightness in the range that B3 is capable of. And if you are so worried, go to Costco, look at the TVs there, those big ass flourescent warehouse lights right above is like being in a bright room and it looks fine,.

That's really helpful. And I agree your point that no one really has their TV set to 100% bright.

If I'm buying 65, maybe I'll take the price cut and buy u8k/qm8 for $999. But in the 75-85 area, Hisense/TCL high end is about the same price to Samsung/LG/Sony mid end. Really hard to make the clear cut.

But at least I know I won't need C3 with limited budget (wife won't allow anything more than $2000). And B3's brightness is more than enough. I'll look for other specifications then.

Thanks.

This or the Sony A80CK for $1900?

Also saw an updated model(?) A80CL for $2999 which makes this LG deal look more appealing

Sony vs. LG at the same price or thereabouts? Buy the Sony.
LG OLED consistently ranks higher than Sony OLED.

It's splitting hairs and depends what your using it for. Sony for upscaling, LG for gaming. Cannot go wrong with either one. Although $800 less for last years Sony vs a C3 (if I read that right) would lead me to save the money.

The CK and CL are essentially the same. Certainly not worth the extra $1000 for the CL if you can get the CK. Choosing between Sony and LG really depends on what your primary usage is. LG is way better for gaming. Sony has a bit of an edge for TV/movie watching because it has better image processing.

Doesn't OLED get damaged by direct sunlight? Or have they fixed that? I know a few years ago there were horror stories about direct sunlight heating up the OLED panel and causing issues. I own two OLED TVs but they aren't exposed to direct sunlight at all, but you post has me curious
