TT is known for its direct drive/belt drive system. Belt drives has no noise.
Logitech used to make all GEAR DRIVE that many did not like because of the clicking and clacking noise it generates when the gears hit each other to create the illusion of the moving car wheel.
I got T300. It's smooth and feels great for 450. This is already 280.
