12700h one is last gen, it has only one ssd slot.
2023 model has 2 ssd slots,vapor chamber cooling (4050 and above) and liquid metal TIM.
Considering dell poor cooling reviews, I'd go with 2023 model

I decided to go with last year's Acer model. It has a faster GPU (150W 3070 Ti) and a 240Hz QHD screen. The price just dropped on the Acer today. It is now $919.99.

I am not sure why this laptop does not come with Thunderbolt™ 4 port, which is only available when you upgrade your video card to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.
