So just a follow up, talked to order support multiple times through chat, they opened up a "Fulfillment Ticket for me" for my order and my "internal" discussed shipping date is 10/24... whatever the hell that means.
I
They already charged me 3 weeks ago btw.. it wasn't charged at time of shipping but rather when I put my payment in.

Update on urlhasbeenblocked Cashback.. they emailed me saying that Lenovo did not provide a reward/cashback for this purchase..

Reason i backed off this deal, theres a 30 day policy (out of return window) before they (lenovo) send xyz cashback org the confirmation, and ofc the beng coupon may or may not invalidate the cashback if they're feeling angsty. So basically you have to yell at lenovo (on their forum) and cashback org potentially and be screwed worst case (doesnt seem like the rule but saw a few post of it happening). Felt like too much of a potential headache for a 4080m.

Update in general: Original ship date of 9/20 in system....
Charge went through as pending initially, and triggered AMEX offer.
Charge dropped off. AMEX offer dropped off.
10/02: Charge pending again. AMEX offer still not triggered
Cashback denied originally. Several emails, and cashback site has credited me $100 for the "frustration".


Now waiting to see if this thing gets delivered before end of October.


In the meantime I picked up a Zephyrus G14 4060 at BB open box. Filling the gap nicely. Return window open till November 16th.

Just got an updated estimated delivery of 10/10 not sure I trust it but I guess we'll see

Edit: scratch that I just received my tracking number. Looks like the wait is finally over!

Have to reach out now that it has shipped. I just did and I should be hearing back from them within 48hrs about the extra 7% discount they offered me.

Negative, I should have been more clear. Same as you, I will be hearing back about the discount after contacting support chat.

I linked them the ticket # ID where I was told I would receive the 5% compensation after the laptop was shipped & invoiced.

I received my computer today. Lenovo also processed the 5% refund today for delay in shipping. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be getting the cashback that I should have.
